Terry Manning receives Google developer scholarship
Terry Manning, technology coordinator for the Department of Journalism and Mass Communications, is a recent recipient of a Grow with Google Challenge Scholarship. The scholarship is designed "to help people master the most important skills they need to be successful in the modern economy," according to a press release. The program focuses on teaching coding skills for mobile and web-based design. "I'm really excited about this opportunity," Manning said. "Not just for myself, but for others who might be motivated to pursue similar careers in technology."
