  • Novella Cross-Holmes, former director of SRPI for many years and retired professor from Savannah State University 


  • Wanda Lloyd, associate professor and chair of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communications at Savannah State University, and retired executive editor of the Montgomery (Ala.) Advertiser, a Gannett newspaper 


  • James D. McJunkins, Journalism Coordinator at Clark Atlanta University Rick Snow, retired sports reporter WTOC 


  •  The Savannah Tribune, “Georgia’s Best Weekly,” remains true to its proud, 143-year legacy of advocating for the uplift of its community and chronicling the contemporary activities of African Americans in Savannah and the nation.
